My friend won the lotery

 Last month, my friend and I were walking to the street and we passed opposite an administration of lottery and he thought in buy a ticket. Three days later, my friend went to my home very excited and he told me that he had some money because had won the lottery. The next day, I was with my friend when he asked me that what does he do with the money? To buy a car or to go on holiday. So I did a list for him:

-If you go on holiday, you will be some days of relax and without worries but it will cost so much for a short time and you will spend money to go and to come back in the transport.

-If you buy a car, you will spend money in petrol, revisions, repairs, tyres, etc. but a car is very useful and for a long time and you will go to a lot of places with your friends too.

Finally, he decided buy the car and in my opinion this was a good choice because I prefered that he bought a car to travel where we want. I thought that It will be very funny!

Transportation vehicles

Many people have got one o more transportation vehicles. People have got car, a bicycle or a motorbike. I agree with this transportation vehicles and the use thatpeople do of them but they try to disturb.

The first, the bicycle is a useful vehicle for short distances, going to mountain, playing a sport, etc...Many years ago, in Sevilla the mayor put bicycles in part of the city. You can enjoy bicycles if you pay a ticket for some days or weeks. I accept the use of it but people go with their bicycles on the sidewalk. If you go by the street and a bicycle goes in the same direction, you must move or the bicycle hits you. The last year, the city hall put signals in the beginning of important streets like Sierpes, Tetuán, etc…In the signal; you can see a man and a paragraph which says “Do not pass by 10:00 to 22:00”. Obviously, people don’t “read” the signal. Personally, I think that the bicycle is an important vehicle but people don’t follow the rules.

In the same way, cars are otheruseful vehicles. My father has a car and he doesn’t use it a lot. For example, the last year, my sister tried to have the driving license. She passed the theory exam with one mistake but she didn’t obtain the practice exam. I think that the driving school tries to earn a lot of money of a student and after more than five attempts maybe they approve you.

In conclusion, I think that people try to following the signals and to respecting the side walk. If they do it, the streets will be safer for the people.

The 21st century

On the year 2001, the 21^st century began. On this year, I’m seven years old and I don’t remember a lot. I remember the terror attack of the 11-S. This was a tragic day for the New Yorkers and the rest of the world. A group of terrorists called Al-Qaeda, kidnapped an aeroplane with a lot of people inside and destroyed the Twin Towers. The Twin Towers were one of the most height towers in the world. Now, the zone of the destruction of the Twin Towers is calling the “zero zone”. Other important thing that happened on the beginning of the 21^st century was the use of the euro in the European Community. Six years ago, we had a government president called José Mª Aznar. On the year 2004, Zapatero was the new government president. No comments about Zapatero. This century is the century of the electronics things. In the last years I saw a lot of electronics things and I think that all will be electronic because is very useful. One important part of the houses is now electronics. They are domotics homes. You enter on your home and programme all the activities as open the window, switch on the light, etc. The last century finished with a prophecy. Many years ago, Nostradamus announced the end of the world in the year 1999. Nothing happened. On the year 2006, a new prophecy occurred. Experts say that in the sixth day of the sixth month in the sixth year, the world finished. Nothing happened. Now, in the year 2012, the world finish. I think that is a prophecy more but the Mayans was very sure. I don’t believe in these things but are very curious.

Music: Keane

Keane is one of my favourite groups. My father heard this group while we have travelled on our car since I was younger than now, for this and because I like this type of music, I like it. Keane is a english band of alternative rock and piano rock procedent of England and it formed in 1997.

Keane are famous because their principal instrument is the piano and not the guitars. Today, the members are Tom Chaplin, Tim Rice-Oxley, Richard Hughes and Jesse Quin but the original group included to Dominic Scott, the guitarist, who left in 2001.

The manager is Adam Tudhope, a Rice-Oxley´s friend since the university, who contributed to do Love Actually and other britain´s films.

I often hear this group in my room while I am doing my homeworks. Hopes and Fears is one of their albums and it has songs how: "Somewhere only we know", "Everybody changing","This is the last time", etc.

This is my favourite album because the songs of it are very melodic and calm. I love this fantastic group and I hope that you like it!!

The TV series. How I met your mother

In this holiday, I had got a lot of free time. One of my favourites activities was see a TV series called How I met your mother.

When I started to saw it, I don´t like a lot. One week later, I love the time in I saw it. I like this program because have a group of charismatics characters. This group, be compose by Barney,Ted, Robin, Marshall and Lily. They life in New York, three of them in the same apartament.

Ted is the protagonist of the series. He lives to find his girlfriend in New York (for me, is a very heavy character because only thinks in found his love).

Marshall is the best friend of Ted and he lives with he in the apartament. He is the boyfriend of Lily and they will be married.

Lily is the "boss" of the group because is very bossy. At the begining of the series, Lily lives in a different apartament.One day when she goes to her apartament, she see a chinese restaurant. Lily lives with Marshall and Ted now.

Robin is a Canadian people who goes to New York as a reporter. Robin stay with Ted one year in series. He acept a work in Japan and for a time, she lives there.

The last character is my favourite because is very funny, he is Barney. Ted mets Barney at a bar. Barney is the best friend of Ted (according to he). He is a ladies man and lies to the girls which he talk. Is very funny because has got a lot of codes like the Bro Code (is a code which has many things and rules of a group of friends.)

The series has got a lot of chapters and six seasons. The last two I saw in English because aren´t stay in Spanish.

Many people say that this series is a copy of friends. I don´t agree with them because are most series like this. Friends and How I met your mother are very similar but no identicals.
